In Norse mythology Fimbulvetr is the three year long winter that precedes the up-com-ing end of the world. This colour represents that period - a harsh winter with no inter-vening summer, that of course brings death and suffering amongst all living things. The appearance of the Fimbulvetr is made to be an all round really good baitfish imitation in most lighting conditions. The poetic pieces of small glitter inside the lure ensure a scale-like light reflection. Details of blood stains and battle wounds covering the lure resemble the struggles and hard times of the final winter and create a nice touch of contrast in the lure design.
