The Shimano Beastmaster Catfish rod series was developed with no compromises in mind to ensure modern, successful catfish fishing techniques. All rods in the range have strong blanks with powerful drill performance and high-quality components in common to stand up to Europe's largest catfish even in the most extreme situations.
Given the many different fishing techniques used to fish for catfish across Europe, the Beastmaster Catfish rod series was designed so that you can find the perfect rod for your preferred fishing style. These include rods for sit-and-wait fishing on rivers and still waters, boat rods for vertical fishing with the Fireball, powerful spinning rods and even a multi-spinning model. All rods in the range have one thing in common: they have the power needed to tame real monster catfish and do the Beastmaster name proud.
The incredible power of the Beastmaster Catfish rods is based on high-quality high modulus full carbon blanks with HPC technology, as well as Shimano's Biofibre and Diaflash carbon construction. The result is incredibly strong and robust rods that provide the power needed when needed to bring even the strongest and largest catfish under control. All models are equipped with extremely robust Seaguide stainless steel rings and a super-strong Fuji DPS reel seat that securely connects both spinning and multiplier reels to the rods. The handles on the handle are made of high-quality EVA. The models for vertical fishing use a profiled split grip that offers maximum grip even when wet. The spinning rods in the range, on the other hand, have a traditional split grip. All other rods (Static/Bank & Multi-Spinning) are equipped with full EVA handles, with the Static/Bank models also being equipped with a shrink tube on the back. A rubber gimbal improves comfort during the fight on all rods in the series.
