For anyone who wants to fish at the highest level with a float or feeder, or only wants to use the best maretial in competitions, the AERO is the perfect solution. There are three Sizes (C3000, 4000, C5000) that you can choose from depending on the area of application and the rod used. While you deactivate the return line when fishing with fine lines and transport the fish over the net head using back-winding, you can rely on the super-fine, waterproof brake when fishing with stronger lines. Of course, both drill variants can also be perfectly combined.
Inside the Aero's inconspicuous XT-7 G Free housing is Shimano's first-class Hagane Gear and X-Ship, which is complemented by Silent Drive. This combination is known for its strong performance and long-lasting reliability. It ensures that the reel maintains its peak performance almost indefinitely, even when fishing with large feeders or catching large carp on commercial waters.
Other outstanding features include the extremely smooth, waterproof front drag, the AR-C cold-forged spool Aluminum for improved casting performance and a crank that screws directly into the main gear for smooth, direct contact running. Each model comes with a line reducer that reduces the spool capacity of the reel, making all models suitable for both mono lines and braided lines. In addition, each spool has a round metal line clip that can be used to set the casting distance without damaging the line.
