The new Aim-X is a real workhorse with high quality and functional equipment. The housing and the rotor are made of torsion-resistant aluminum. The 7 + 1 ball bearings and the main axis are rustproof. The reel also has a screw-in crank arm. The housing is encapsulated and thus protects the metal gear from aggressive salt water. Despite all rust-free components, the reel should be rinsed with fresh water after use in salt water to extend its durability.
