Nays SCR – The Soft Bait Crab That Gets Where Others Can't Reach
Sometimes it's not about the size of the lure – it's about where it ends up. The Nays SCR was built for exactly those moments when subtle presentation makes the difference between an empty net and the catch of the day. With its compact profile and delicately fluttering claws, it imitates a small crustacean with convincing realism – a prime delicacy that perch, pike-perch, and chub simply can't resist. On a backslide rig the SCR truly comes into its own: threaded backward on an offset hook, it glides effortlessly away from the angler on the fall – slipping directly beneath overhanging structures, moored boats, and docks where the biggest predators are waiting in ambush.
Crafted from salt-impregnated soft plastic, the Nays SCR has exceptional dead weight that enables long, precise casts even on light tackle. The subtle movement of the claws and legs creates natural, lifelike action even at the slowest possible retrieves. As a trailer on the Nays DLT Skirted Jigs it delivers the perfect finishing touch – fished solo on Texas, Carolina, or drop shot rigs it stands alone as a versatile weapon for demanding finesse anglers who expect more than the ordinary.
