Mepps was founded in 1938 and since then has been synonymous with the best quality of spinners and is an integral part of predator fishing. Mepps makes its spinner blades from a special copper alloy produced by the world's best foundries. Working with researchers from the US, Canada and France, Mepps has been producing the world's best spinners for over 80 years.

To catch the big predators, Mepps has also developed special pike baits. The size and weight are designed to get only the big "moms" to the band. Due to the large spinner blades and the "tufts" on the hook, the volume of the spinner is visually enlarged and attracts especially the pike.
