Even cranked normally and constantly, it has an unusually pronounced action.It wobbles, rolls and shakes provocatively with the whole body, so that you can almost use it for "crabbing" or as a searchbait.This property also makes it a bank when wobbling zander over the stone pack, because it already closes a clear one when cranking in slow motion action that can be felt and seen.
If you hit the loose line (=twitch), the bait breaks extremely blatantly in all directions out and jumping around like crazy. He imitates small prey fish that are trying to flee in panic. An action that hardly leaves a predatory fish cold! Jerked harder, the X68 turns around completely from time to time and looks backwards. Absolutely insane when you look at this running behavior in clear water!
As a classic suspender, the Lurefans X68 floats in pauses to catch up and stands on the spot for seconds at stops. At times, that is exactly what triggers the bite. Since the use of snaps is widespread in this country, these small wobblers are optimized for use on the snap. They are therefore delivered without an additional hanger or ring for knotting. For optimal swimming behavior, we therefore recommend using it on the snap and not tying it on directly.
PRO-TIP: The floating behavior also changes slightly with different water temperatures. This is simple physics and is more or less pronounced in EVERY suspending model. This can be counteracted by using different snap sizes. If a suspender with a size M snap suddenly sinks extremely slowly, you can get it floating again with a size S snap. If a suspender slowly rises on a Micro Snap, you can switch to a slightly larger model to balance it out again.
Of course, this wobbler is also equipped with the special Lurefans "magnetic boost system". This complex casting system essentially consists of a magnetic cylinder that can move back and forth in a specially shaped channel inside the wobbler body, a permanent magnet in the head area, which also contains two metal balls for stabilization and the so-called "boost plate " in the rear part of the lure, which gives this special casting system its name.
During the cast, the cylinder detaches itself from the magnet in the head of the wobbler, rushes through the channel at enormous speed and hits the boost tiles. The high impact force generates centrifugal acceleration, which throws the lure at very good casting distances and ensures a stable position in flight.
As soon as the wobbler is reeled in after casting, the cylinder slips back in immediately the head area of ??the wobbler and is fixed there by the magnet. So the X68SP is silent. Only a small glass bead in the head, which acts as a counterweight, creates a restrained and unique click at times.
