Anyone smoking their own fish or meat can't do without a good brine - and that's exactly where the Jenzi Smoking Brine comes in. This highly aromatic, salt-based smoking brine combines fine spices and herbs into a well-balanced recipe that gives the food not only the right amount of salt, but also an intense, rounded flavour. One 700 gram bag is enough for around 10 litres of ready-to-use brine - a whole batch for smoking, practically portioned and easy to prepare.
Before smoking, the food is soaked in the prepared brine for around 10 hours, allowing the salt and flavours to penetrate evenly. The blend of paprika, juniper berries, coriander, onion pieces, garlic, black pepper, cinnamon, ginger, bay leaves and thyme, combined with natural smoke flavouring, delivers an authentic, spicy note that stays clearly noticeable even after smoking. According to the recipe, the brine is free from allergens, making it safe to use with confidence in your own smokehouse.
