DAIWA STEEZ CT SV: The new generation - Ultra-compact and versatile (Compact & Tough)
The STEEZ has evolved with the new CT (COMPACT & TOUGH) concept. It features a compact body and a 30mm G1 Duralumin CT SV spool. The CT SV spool offers excellent initial velocity and covers not only versatile but also finesse performance, resulting in an unprecedented casting feel. The smooth retrieve, inherited from the STEEZ SV TW, is thanks to the G1 Duralumin Machine Cut Drive Gear. And the new TWS (T-Wing System), which fits the 700-size coil, has a synergistic effect with the SV CONCEPT to achieve amazing precision performance. The CT SV proposes a new, versatile style.
The Evolution of the STEEZ Series:
In 2016, the versatile SV model was born, symbolizing the new generation of STEEZ and captivating the world with its overwhelming lightness and trouble-free performance. The following year, 2017, saw the A with a Tough Concept and super-metal housing. Now, in 2019, the third STEEZ Baitreel, the CT SV, is born. The completely new, compact body, which differs from the two existing models, is equipped with an ultra-small, high-performance motor that significantly expands the range of usable lures. This next-generation versatile reel answers the real questions of modern bass anglers and meets the realities of the field. Innovative CT SV spool (30mm): Concept: CT = Compact & Tough. The symbol of the new reel is the ultra-small CT SV spool, at only 30mm in diameter, the smallest in DAIWA's history. Application: It aims for even more ultra-light performance and boasts excellent high-speed rotation, capable of handling rigs under 5g. It is now on par with bait finesse reels. Material & Strength: Made from G1 Duralumin. This ensures high stiffness and low weight, while the thickness guarantees sufficient strength. Performance: The CTSV spool achieves high rotational force, far surpassing the 34mm spools of existing models. It has an excellent start-up, even with ultra-light rigs, and reaches top speed instantly. Casting distance: The synergistic effect with the TWS, which doesn't impede line release, results in a smooth, trouble-free flight.
