Daiwa Aird 80 LH - High-Performance Baitcasting Reel with MagForce LC Technology
That perfect pitch under the overhanging bank - no backlash, no tangle, just a clean cast landing exactly where you aimed. Unveiled at ICAST 2025, the Daiwa Aird 80 LH brings premium baitcasting technology within reach of every angler. The MagForce LC magnetic braking system delivers long, accurate casts with medium to large lures - from hard baits to heavy soft plastics. Whether you are chasing bass, zander, or targeting a range of predator species, the Aird 80 LH is the versatile, reliable reel that will not break the bank.
The lightweight, compact frame sits comfortably in the hand, reducing fatigue during long sessions on the water. Seven plus one ball bearings ensure a smooth, consistent retrieve, while the 7.5:1 gear ratio allows for quick line pickup across a wide range of techniques. The 90 mm swept handle with non-slip rubber knobs provides a confident grip even with wet hands and adds extra leverage during tough fights. With up to approximately 11 lbs (5 kg) of drag, the Aird 80 LH has the stopping power to handle hard-fighting freshwater predators.
