The rod support from Balzer was developed for pike fishing, where it holds heavy and long rods safely. The rod holder has 7 fixed grid points with which the angle of the fishing rod can be adjusted and which ensure a very good hold of the fishing rod. The robust construction made of galvanized steel makes the rod stand very robust. The additional hook at the end of the rod holder makes it easy to fix in the ground and prevents the rod stand from twisting. Depending on the angle of the rod support, the total length of the rod holder is between 60 and 70cm.
