The reel body is made of torsion-resistant aluminum, and the rotor is made of a lightweight nylon/carbon composite material. The extra-strong stainless steel main shaft can take on even the toughest opponents. The BALZER Sealed Safety System uses special seals to prevent saltwater from entering sensitive areas, such as the carbon drag discs. These high-performance drag discs provide a whopping 14 kg of drag power. The precise line retrieval is exactly 100 cm per handle revolution, which is extremely practical for determining depth. The screw-in CNC-machined aluminum handle eliminates any tolerances. The ball-bearing aluminum knob is extremely ergonomic. The reel comes with a practical neoprene protective bag.
