The new Shimano Aldebaran MGL is a super lightweight low profile baitcaster. Weighing just 135 grams, it fits perfectly on every BFS rod. Thanks to the 9 + 1 S-ARB ball bearings, all parts of the Aldebaran are very smooth and supple. In addition, the Aldebaran has a new and extremely lightweight MGL coil. This results in a very low start-up inertia, which is why it is possible to throw very light baits even further. The Aldebaran MGL also has a new SVS Infinity Breaking System built in, which can be fine tuned to prevent wigging when throwing. Taking all this into account, the Aldebaran MGL is the perfect role for bait-finesse fishing and vertical jigging for perch and zander.
