Westin Swim Tail - The Adaptable Swimbait for Every Pike Mood
When pike sometimes want powerful rotation and other times a nervous twitch, you don't want to retie a new lure for every mood. That's exactly where the Westin Swim Tail comes in: it builds on the proven, 12 cm Original Swim, but takes it a decisive step further - thanks to a clever screw-on system, you can swap the tail in seconds, right there on the water. Retrieve the paddle tail with a steady, monotonous crank or short pauses, while the twister tail plays to its strengths when jerked and twitched with long pauses. Whatever mood the pike are in, the Swim Tail gives you the right answer in seconds. With a total length of 17.5 cm (paddle tail) or 19 cm (twister tail) and its simple handling, it quickly becomes a must-have in every tackle box - throughout every season.
The body is made from tough, lead-free ABS plastic and features a full wire-through-body construction along with ultra-sharp carbon steel hooks that hold firm even on hard strikes. The long-cast design ensures long, accurate casts, and thanks to interchangeable tails, a single lure delivers four different swimming actions - one paddle tail and one twister tail are included, both free of toxic phthalates and finished with detailed hand-painted colours. Important note: because the rubber tails are made from an elastomer, they should always be stored separately from other plastic lures (e.g. the ABS body), as plasticisers can attack and permanently damage other plastics. For deeper zones, a switch weight can also be attached to the front wire eye.
