The Poison Adrena is Shimano's ultimate JDM predator rod. It combines Shimano's most advanced carbon technology with the exclusive JDM design philosophy, refinement and precisely tailored rod actions, and also benefits from the latest UBD technology (Ultimate Blank Design) to deliver unrivalled performance.
For every predator angler who refuses to compromise and only wants to use the very best equipment, the Poison Adrena is exactly the right rod. It is the flagship of Shimano's spinning rod range, and anyone who holds it in their hand once immediately understands why. The low weight, the feedback and the power of the slim blanks are breathtaking, but it is the extremely fast recovery that truly stands out. The outstanding performance of the Poison Adrena when casting, working the lure and fighting fish delivers a completely new and better fishing experience.
Equipped with Shimano's best rod technology, including the brand-new UBD technology (Ultimate Blank Design), the Poison Adrena impresses in every respect. The Spiral X Core construction of the high-modulus carbon blank gives the Poison Adrena unmatched power without sacrificing lightness, speed or sensitivity. The combination of the Full Carbon Monocoque Handle with a Perfection Reel Seat XT on the casting models or a Perfection Reel Seat CI4+ on the spinning models ensures maximum feedback. And to round off the rod perfectly, it has been fitted with premium X-Guide rings for ultimate line management.
