Equipped with the tried and tested two treble hooks, a single hooktakes up the drag during a powerful cast so that the bait is not compressed. The single hook is placed in the lip of the bait. That way onecan perform the cast vigorously without the bait flying off the hook duringcasting. In the case of larger baitfish the single hook can happilydisappear completely into the head; it serves less to hook the predatorfish: its purpose is only to make sure it is stable during casting. In additionto this, as with the spin system, a copper wire ensures perfect castingprotection by winding it tight around the bait’s head. When requiredit can be removed without any difficulty.
