The Decoy W-S51 Assist Hook is a treble hook that was designed exclusively for use as a stinger (fear hook). The third fluke of the triplet serves as a retaining pin and points in the opposite direction.
It releases quickly and easily from the rubber bait when you first hit it. The force of the first strike acts very directly on the two main hooks.
In addition, the bait is spared, as the holding hook damages the material significantly less than a conventional treble hook. Due to the position of the holding hook offset towards the eye, the W-S51 Assist Hook can also be attached particularly far back on the rubber bait without affecting its play.
